A: Yes. Contact us to tell us about your project. First, we'll chat by phone to learn more about your desired outcome and determine if the scope of your project matches your budget. In order to provide an estimate, we may need to set up an in-person visit of your home.
Q: How much will my project cost?
A: Generally speaking, it is up to you. Let's discuss what you would like to do and how much you would like to spend. Often we can provide suggestions that help you get better value for your money.
Q: How long will it take?
A: Depends on how quickly decisions are made. It also depends on the lag time between when products and parts are ordered and when they can be delivered.
Q: Is my project too small for your company?
A: No. We work on projects of all sizes.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Sound Builders has been in business since 1976.
Q. Do you have a current contractor’s license?
A: Yes, we do. Our contractor license number is: SOUNDB*241K0.
Q: Do you do Universal Design projects?
A: Yes. Universal Design is similar to Aging-in-Place. It is remodeling the house to fit the different physical requirements of the occupants.
Q: How will I contact the project manager before and during my job?
A: You will be given all the contact information you will need once you become our client. This will include your project manager’s cell phone number.
Q: What guarantees do you have in writing?
A: We have an 18 month warranty on our labor.
Q: Do you have letters of references from clients I can contact?
A: Yes. Please see our references page. We also have clients who have graciously opened their homes to help prospective clients decide.
Q: Do you have a written safety program and follow safe work practices?
A: Yes. We have a companywide safety program and each individual job has its own safety plan that is kept on the jobsite.
Q: Do you use green materials and methods?
A: Yes, but it depends on the owner’s specific requirements for the project and the budget.
